The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
